Fall-Food Inspired Treats for Your Best Fuzzy Friend

Posted by Justin Ramb

Is cooler weather making you crave pumpkin spice? Did you know that you could also treat your pooch to fall-inspired treats? Many of the same foods that you love in the autumn are also safe and healthy for your dog. Gain inspiration from these simple recipes that dogs will crave.

Cinnamon, Oat, and Apple Dog Cookies

These dog cookies look so tempting that you might feel tempted to try them yourself. Start with two cups of oats, an apple, a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a tablespoon each of flax seeds and honey. Blend everything and shape the treats on a baking pan. Then bake for about 20 minutes at 350, let them cool, and watch your pet go nuts.

Peanut butter and Pumpkin Chews for Dogs

Mix one can of plain pumpkin puree, one-half cup of peanut butter, and two cups of flour. Roll out the dough and cut the dough into squares or fun shapes. Bake them at 375 for 12 minutes. After they're cool, offer your dog a cookie or two, and you can always freeze the rest for later.

The Simplest Sweet Potato Jerky Treats for Dogs

You can pay a lot of money at the store for jerky treats. Alternatively, you can make your own and store them for later. Simply slice raw sweet potatoes into long strips. Cover a baking pan with parchment paper, and arrange the slices into one layer.

Most people bake these at 225 for three or four hours. However, you can bake them a little less for softer treats or a bit more for a crunchier experience. Experiment to see which textures your pet likes the best.

Why Supplement Your Dog's Diet?

Typical dog food provides basic nutrition. On the other hand, all dogs have different requirements, depending on their health, age, size, and breed. A natural, tested supplement can enhance your pet's diet and help ensure you did everything possible to keep your dog healthy.

Our Multi-Plus Chews provide dogs with essential minerals, vitamins, and essential fatty acids to support their strong bones, limber joints, and robust digestive systems. Many pet owners also find these nutritious chews help improve their dog's coats and even their dispositions. Best of all, your pet will think they taste almost as good as your cooking!
